Math Discovery

Our class has had a busy and exciting first few days of school. We have been spending time getting to know one another, practicing expectations and exploring some of the classroom materials. Tomorrow afternoon we will get a chance to have some team building time with the other fourth grade classrooms. Next week we will return on Tuesday and continue to find out more about our classroom friends and start to share some of our hopes and dreams for the year. I can tell already that this is going to be a fantastic community of learners. Below you will see a slide show of some of our classmates during a guided discovery of the math manipulatives. As you can see from some of their creations we have a room full of very creative thinkers!
